BedWatch Africa is an information service. It provides data about health facility capacity based on information entered by facility staff. It does not provide medical advice, clinical guidance, diagnosis, treatment, or any other form of healthcare.

2. No Guarantee of Availability

BedWatch Africa does not guarantee that any health facility shown as "available" will have capacity at the time of your arrival. Health facility capacity changes rapidly. A facility shown as available at the time of your query may become full by the time you arrive. Always call ahead when possible.

3. Not a Substitute for Emergency Services

BedWatch Africa is not an emergency service. In any life-threatening situation, your first action must be to call the Ghana National Ambulance Service (dial 112). Do not delay calling emergency services in order to use BedWatch Africa.

4. Technology Limitations

The BedWatch Africa platform depends on internet connectivity, GPS availability, facility data updates, SMS delivery, and third-party service providers. Any of these may fail or be unavailable at any time. BedWatch Africa cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

5. Facility Independence

Health facilities listed on BedWatch Africa are independent entities. BedWatch Africa does not control their operations, staffing, quality of care, or admission decisions. Listing on BedWatch Africa does not constitute endorsement of any facility’s quality of care.

6. Complete Exclusion of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BedWatch Africa disclaims all liability for any harm, injury, death, loss, or damage arising from:

• Use of or inability to use the platform
• Reliance on information displayed by the platform
• Any action or inaction by any health facility
• Technical failures of any kind
• Any BERF payment or non-payment
• Emergency routing suggestions
• Hospital notification failures
• Trusted contact alert failures
